What is a filler treatment?

We offer a variety of procedures using fillers. Treatable areas  include, but are not limited to, the lips, chin, jowls, cheeks and tear troughs.The goals of filler treatments are to increase volume, soften resting lines and provide support for facial sculpting. 

We offer multiple hyaluronic acid (soft) fillers as well as calciumhydroxyapatite based  (firm) fillers where a more supportive filler is needed. In most cases, filler treatments require anesthetic to reduce the pressure and pain of injection.

Typically, we use a topical anesthetic, applied for 20-30 minutes prior to the procedure.  Following anesthesia, the procedure is only minimally uncomfortable if at all.  Our clients who have had filler treatments elsewhere are amazed and very pleased with how much better our anesthetic works

We only offer name brand products including Restylane, Radiesse, Juvaderm and Versa, to name a few. If you have an alternative preference, we’re happy to get that for you also!

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM FILLER

We are always happy to consult with you about any concerns you may have!

Following the procedure, you will likely have some swelling in the area which will resolve over the next couple of days.  There is also the potential for some bruising which should resolve quickly.  These symptoms are minimized by applying ice frequently following the procedure.  Our injectors are very skilled, careful and accurate.  We work hard not to leave any lumps or asymmetry, and we won’t try to overfill i.e. oversell you.

Most filler treatments last a minimum of 9-12 months, though some of the calcium based fillers may last far longer.
